Have been thinking about writing an article on the crux of the various books I have been reading but have got through beyond a point of scribbling and making notes. What you see written below are the scribbles. Will turn Ito into an article soon

Extreme Ownership

Most of the times we choose not to do things for reasons we invent ourselves..

Own EVERYTHING that is happening to you. There is NO ONE other that YOU who is responsible for what is happening to you. Stop trying to find someone  or something to blame for something that you are not doing. At work on in personal life unless you own every action in your life you will not succeed

Turn Off Notifications

Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, SMS etc. These keep your mind in a constant state of agitation. Turn them off. I cannot stress enough on how important this is. This will give you back a lot of time in a day to do te you back a lot of time in a day to do things that are really important.

Learn to say NO. You will never be able to do everything. Do ONLY the most important things first.

Invest in yourself.

Physical – Exercise, Run, Eat healthy

Mental – Read, lean something new

Spiritual – Mediate. You don’t need an elaborate setup. Just do mindful breathing.

Hard work is not an option

There will always be someone who is more intelligent, has more resources, is stronger, is more beautiful that you however how much hard work you put in is completely up to you. No one can take that away from you.

Live with an assumption that every one is nice and has good intentions. Want good for everyone. Be kind. Be humble

Execution is Key

All the fancy mission statements, project plans  and strategies are of no use until it can be executed. Plans are only good intentions unless they immediately degenerate into hard work and execution

There are no bad students only bad teachers

There are no bad teams only bad leaders

Start investing as early as possible in your lives. Even if it is a very small sum

Keep the customer in the centre
